Devils and the Lunch Room Lady

Ive been toying with the idea of black, red, devils, and demons. In the Buddhism I practise devils are a metaphor for an imbalance in your mind-body connection along with other metaphors. Sometimes the role of a devil or negative function(the literal meaning) isnt actually all negative its to help you grow and change. Hell in Buddhism is a state of mind.




















I had cut out some fabric.




I didnt know exactly what this cut out fabric would look like on? I do like to use the body as part of the design.


Befor I made it though I was also interested in tying together the idea of the Lunch Room Lady, because to me she was the kindest woman in school. I always liked her uniform. I knew before I made it, it would look similar to a uniform.
I didnt fore see the shoulders being so pointy.
